Mining Relic's of the Mother Lode

There are relic's from the California Gold Rush all over the State.
The pictures in the video are from Grass Valley to Beckwourth and just about every camp or village in between.
When Gold was discovered in California in 1848 it started a mass expedition to the territory in search of great wealth.
I hope you enjoy the pictures and the video I just love visiting the Historic mining towns and sites .
Thanks for watching

Looks like it was a hive of industry at that time.
I bet ya would love to see nuggets that size now in your pan.
Thanks Jeff for showin' us what it was like back then.
It must have been dangerous too.

If anyone got a hint you had started spending?

I have been through a couple of gold mines in California. Fun to visit. It is too bad the mining was so destructive to nature, especially the water cannons. Sure those places as well as the coal strip mines back East will come back when repatriated but the landscape will never be like it was originally. Thanks for the video.
