A few more rings from years past.....The first ring was found where a high school built in 1898 once stood. The old school was torn down in the 1930's and replaced by a newer school which is no longer in use. It's circa 1915 and was produced by Georg Jensen a famous silversmith and is the only silver ring I've ever sold. I was able to contact a descendant of Jensen who is a jeweler and was offered $175.00 for it. The other rings were all found on soccer fields.

Love those silver rings. They have a very unique attraction. The first one from Denmark is a killer! Don't find much with hallmarks in the midwest.
Thanks Bricky…..a couple of unusual hallmarks on the ring from Denmark. The makers initials GJ (Georg Jensen) and the .830 which is an alloy not used in more recent times. Lower purity than sterling.
