I posted awhile back on the DIY rod conversion. It worked out pretty good but I wasn't quite satisfied. I sent it in to Wayne@Nautilus for the proper fix. Got a new coil, tune-up, and the proper rod conversion. I like this a whole lot better than what I had done. This detector is sweet!

Hanoverdigger, that is one nice looking Nautilus. I'll bet she has helped to find some nice relics from Ole' Virgini'. From an ole' relic hunter from Georgia.

Thanks, KRose. This detector has found many CW relics in the 20+ years I've had it. Since the passing of Jerry Tyndall and Steve, there was no hopes of getting it tuned up, much less a new coil. There's a guy now, Wayne Lee, who has taken over and is making new coils and doing repairs. From what I understand, there's a NEW Nautilus in the works. So, if there are any Nautilus users out there in need of repairs, Wayne is the man! You can find him on Facebook.
