Yes but where can I get it? My good deaf friend from Ohio use Garrett 1500 with vibra and he got lot of coins. I found out that :( vibra :( would not work on Minelab!

Slow is best for me! Sometime I have to stop for a break because I become daydreaming and missing read id targets! Found two 1967 pennies yesterday at about 6 inch deep at new park but on old ground school. Both 1967 .... same year 50 feet apart ....weird!

Maybe buy ACE 350 WITH vibra but my fear is wouldnt find deeper than 6 inch! My wife or son can use it while I use my Safari.

The CTX goes deep, but deep is different for different types of soil.... so no mfgr can say how deep it does or does not go... too many variables.

I can tell you from experience that it is as deep as any other detector I have ever used (Etrac, V3i, Vx3, DFX, MXT, ATPro, etc.,)

Where the CTX excel is target seperation... finally a visual machine that makes sense of it all!

I am partially deaf, with some machines I cannot hear certain tones as well as others, the CTX makes up for this with an excellent buffet of visual indicators as to what the target(s) might be.

This thang is AWESOME in trashy ground, even with the stock 11inch DD coil.

The GPS is a fun add-on that is actually accurate and useful, at the park today I targeted several spots, assigned a "Find-point", then navigated back to the targets and dug them.

The Bottom Line:
The CTX (in my soil) goes as deep as any other detector I have had, but seems to be much better in regard to VDI and Visual indicators for the deep targets where other machines might only whisper, *target masking is a problem solved by the CTX.

Time will tell if it is actually a deeper seeker, just need to get it over that deeeeeep target first.

If you dig-everything, you do not need this machine, just get a MXT and run it wide open with full sensitivity....lol
