...saw this a few weeks ago...all I can say is that I absolutely hate the designs...the "greenback" is part of our unique identity, and I hope that we don't sell out another aspect of who we are...

As to having Obama on our currency (and this is not a politically motivated remark)...having a president's image on currency should be AFTER that person has made a some sort of significant contribution to the success of America as a nation...which is usually determined (and can really ONLY be determined) years after the person has served...

Just my opinion...

He won't be on anything simply because it's against the law for any living person to be on American currency.
The only execption to that was Eunice Kennedy Shriver, and even that took a special act of congress to do. Something that probably won't happen again for a long time. :lol:

If I'm not mistaken, postage stamps cannot depict a living US politician or person and I think they have to be dead for like 10 years.
Mourning stamps are an exception; Roosevelt, Harding, etc.

The Kennedy half I suppose would have fallen into the "mourning" criteria for coins;
assassinated in '63, new halves in '64.

PS. I do not like the "Europeonization" of American currency either.

Did you know that you can have your own picture(or anyone else's)put on a postage stamp? This is cool: http://photo.stamps.com/Store/?source=si10757723

The person they chose to be on the $1 is not worthy enough to be in office much alone on the bill...
Why get rid of "in God we trust," isn't this country found on God or is this the beginning of the " New World Order" as the dollar bill and other symbols from the secret societies have told us from the beginning.....
Look at the trend.....
Hip hop has boomed big time and is the biggest money making industry out there and with the so called Illuminati running it all, it seems like they have part in this Admin also....
Just food for thought people....
Maybe Dan Brown, James Rollins and other factional writing authers are showing us what might happen and we just read and watch the movies for entertainment and not read between the lines.......
Anyone remember the book "1984."
