Sweep speed importance
Went through each of the processes, with the exception of the FA process, de, je, bc and pf will all detect the rivet with the faster sweep speed. Of course the BP process had no issues. I did notice one notable bit of information, seems like the transition from 0-50 sensitivity would require the faster sweep speed to detect the rivet. When the sensitivity was above 60 I could begin to slow the sweep speed down and still acquire the rivet. Amazing machine.
That's great. I have found different results on different machines.
If a Mercury Dime is deep on edge, I have been able to get a sharp chirp by rapidly passing the coil on the E-trac over it.
The AT PRO's response would only happen with a slow constant sweep.
