Life is a mixed Blessing and recently minke has been a mix. I have torn my meniscus in my right knee again. More severe than the last time. I have a consultation with a surgeon on the 25th. I had a physical and my liver enzymes are 5-6 times normal. I have a fatty liver due to my obesity. So I just had a fibroscan an my liver to see how bad it is. I should have results later next week. Then while hiking to a few waterfalls a month ago I was getting short of breath. This plus the elevated liver enzymes led to having an echocardiogram of my heart a few days ago. I received a call tardy telling me my heart is fine. PRAISE THE LORD! While out checking on our new hose we are building I decided to check on the roof of our safe room. I grabbed a ladder that was off to the side and decided to climb up and inspect it myself. As I'm reaching over the top of the rafters the ladder collapses and I start to fall. I catch myself with my left hand and right wrist on the rafters. (I had my cell phone in my right hand.) I hand there long enough to make sure when I drop down I won't land on the ladder. Fortunately it was only about an 18-20 inch drop to the floor. Being 6'4" has its advantages. LOL dropping 10' wouldn't have been fun. Result ... sever wrist sprain on my right wrist. The ladder I used was setting off to the side for a reason. It had a bent leg and was being no discarded. So much for me being an observant photographer! Other good news is our new house is coming along nicely; safe room, roof, shingles, windows, doors, and furnace are all in. We are waiting on pluming fixtures to come in, but things are moving along. I have my brother in law in town and my in laws due in a few days so I may not be on much, but hopefully I'll be back on more soon. I miss all of you more than you know!
