Never tested our well water here. I can't drink chlorinated water. Had a fight with chlorine as a kid and lost. Chlorine poisoning from a public pool. Zero Tolerance on the stuff now. I would drink our water no mater what they say was in it. Not made anyone sick in over 20 years and the coffee taste great.

Curious as to waht you mean by "Lot of guys"...how many would be a lot? Do you know how many recruits he led through boot camp as a drill instructor? I mean he was only a drill instructor for two years and if the average length of boot camp is {or was} thirteen weeks that leaves the maximum of 5...maybe 6 platoons in total for his DI career. Not really a lot when you relate it to the number of folks that went to "Nam"...as you put it. Just curious.
I looked at some of the on line posts that claimed he was their DI in boot camp. Regardless of whether it was 100 or 300, after Gunny became better known because of his TV exposure and full metal jacket experience, people who did actually know him or trained under him suddenly had bragging rights. I have no way of knowing if those posts are really factual.
