Praise God, I finally have all my files off my old server and moved to my new one! To top it all off, I lost no data!! I'm one happy camper! :D

I am so glad you saved it all. You put in a lot of hard work for it and it paid off. I know nothing about servers and all but I would be thinking of saving it all some other way and not have all my eggs in one basket (server). 15 years of work is a lot especially the award winning pictures you had and all the rest.

Thanks! I already have backup plans in motion. Additional hard drives will be purchased new, images will be categorized and backed up on various drives. Then those drives will be stored off site.

Pro PHO, I'm so glad this worked out for you and that you didn't lose any of your work. 15 years is a long time and a lot of photo's. (y)

I'm really glad you got your years of work back. Sure hope I can. Getting ready to crack open a hard drive in hopes of freeing the heads up.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just on a very tight budget that doesn't allow for paying others unless I am totally unable. To recover this HDD would be close to 10K and while I want what's on it, its not worth that much. Right now its pretty much dead so I have nothing to lose that hasn't already been lost.
