On Thursday mornings Sue and I head to Exeter, Rhode Island to have breakfast at The Middle Of Nowhere Diner. The breakfast I had was quite filling for only $3.79.
After breakfast we took a short 10 minute ride to the Chestnut Hill church and cemetery where there's the gravestone of Mercy Brown who was thought to have been inhabited by a vampire. I read about this in the book I show in the photos.
A brother of the girl in question had Tuberculosis but the family thought he was being made ill by a vampire, so they dug the graves of other family members to try to find which one was the "home" of the vampire. The creepy part is they cut Mercy's heart out, burned it, and put the ashes in the brother's medicine to drink.!!!!
