Hi all,

I developed a mild case of intentional flu this morning so I could go out to my favorite beach to look for points. Heading out in the boat I was going past a small beach area that I'm always telling myself I need to stop and check out. So this morning I did. Found a bit of debittage after about 10 minutes of looking. I then came upon a depresion in the clay that was filled with sand, gravel and cobble. I picked some of the cobble and tossed it aside. Not seeing any points I stuck my hand down into the sand and pulled out this nice 5 inch spear point! I believe it to be an early to mid archaic point either a Poplar Island or Adena. Any one out there have any idea? The other two points are a Levanna (the dark one) and Lamoka (lighter one). Made my day! This was the last day to get out and play before a two week work trip!
