Default Found a nice pocket of Petrified Wood

Well as the water starts to go down from the Lake Texoma flood I figured there would be tons of new fossils. So my son and I went to a place where we had found small pieces of petrified wood and holy cow. It was everywhere.

I had to take my shirt off and make a make shift tote sack to cary it back to out car. And that was abouot 80 lbs! There was so much of this stuff that we finally got tired and left a lot.

Looks like a good haul! I used to have a small piece. I have never seen that much at one time, congrats, Beale.

That is a lot of petrified wood. Do you plan on selling it or making some kind of artwork?
