points and tools from today.
2 scrapers, 4 kirk points. i see hundreds of flint chips for every one of these i find.
this is the way i find most things, broken. tip,base and knife.

they are fun to find...
and i read every bit of info about prehistoric America i can get now. it is a neat too see thousands of years of prehistory in the river bank. charcoal,flint chips,mussel shell,pottery etc.stacked in layers.
i need the book by squire and davis now.pappy got any ideas where i can get 1? greg check out the book "This Dark and Bloody River". has some good clues too sites on the ohio and Monongalia river's. i love it too j.d! you will find them robzombie,,,,i am checking into what kind and color of chert,flint,quartz etc, they used up there.find some secondary chips and you are close.

secondary chips? is that the pices that chipped off when they were forming the arrow heads?

the flakes got smaller and smaller as the tools shape
took form. here are a few that were done close to the end.
