Default found this snow plowing

I had 30 yards of fill brought in on my driveway parking area last summer.
while plowing the 12" of snow of it this winter the blade turned up some of the rocks , this was on of the rocks.
i'm thinking maybe this spring i'll dig up that 30 yards a sift it out, the rock fits the right hand. could it be an indian tool of some sort.
the dirt came from a gravel pit.

Possible artifact or the makings of one. I would think that if it was something that was actively used it would have more of a patina. Cool find though! Any chance of getting a pic of the other side?

Looks like part of a fire starter or possibly part of a drill for drilling beads or bone. COOL FIND!

Lightbulb It may be a item used as .....

a basin to grind something like hematite, herbs etc.
Could be the top part of a "Friction drill" as it fit's so well in your palm. Would have been a very well used one from the look of it.

Whatever it is it looks very well made.
