Smile my first point...

found it Sept 22,1989. what a great day it was for me. not sure what kind it is but it looks like a kirk point that broke during construction and thrown away. flaw in center of point,bad flint.

most points i find are spent.


2nd pic, knife. about as thin as a nickel and still sharp.

wish me luck, i am going after some more today.

Default did okay today..

for 3 hours of walking around.
2 kirk points
2 more kirk points
shaft scraper on top
what i hope is the base of a hardaway side notch on the bottom.
middle part of a spear, thats about the only part i ever find of them.
the spot i wanted to detect was too muddy. did find some broken old glass bottles? the type of glass with bubbles in it. one piece had "Y ' S in it. think i will detect it next time.
