i found twice as much broken stuff. these came from both the riverbank and plowed fields. 1 came from a dirt road.

Default thanks!

i can't get out and look enough. those show almost the whole stoneage in W.Va with the exception of paleo. I find clay from the last ice age so they should be here, somewhere. Pappy, can dowsing rods help find these? If i found a site i would record it and leave it be but a point or tool in a field or the riverbank is coming with me.

Default alot of walking and good luck.

i am going to start detecting in some of the fields. you just never know. that just shows the totals. went out many times and came back with nothing much to show for it. lost my shoe in the mud and have been covered in burs many times to find em.

I had a unique dream last night. Staring through the dark a spot of light grows to a 2 foot circle. I'm focused on a gravel bottom with smooth round stones and some broken points and unknown artifacts. To the left a foot and up a few inches I see a beautiful complete stone spear head. The image disorted only by the ripples in the water periodically reflecting the light. That's the only thing I remember but it felt like I dreamed it for 10 minutes or more. It was very peaceful. Anyone know anything about dreams and visions? I've had dreams come true so I'm very curious as to what this dream could possibly mean? Jason

Default I don't much about dreams...

but do have a book about them. I will send you the artifact info tonight.
I do know that the circle to some indians ment the cycle of life. The large spear is something that may have been buried with it's owner. could also be a spot where the men sat around a fire and made tools?
