New member from Kentucky
Hi all,
I am from Central Ky (Lexington area). I've been hunting arrowheads for a little over 30 years now. I can't get enough of it. Here is an Adena that I found when I was 12 years old. It appears to be made of Boyle Chert. There is also a pic of an Archaic blade that I found last summer about a stone's throw from where I found the Adena. The blade is made of Upper Mercer flint. It almost looks to have a purple tint in the sunlight. The blade also has a spokeshave made into it. It's hard to believe i'm still finding artifacts in that field after all these years! Thanks for looking!
