Default Spade

Here is a spade that I found in the early '80s. It is made of Cotton Rock. This spade is about 6 inches long, but is very light-weight. This type of rock doesn't weigh much even in big chunks. I'm sure it was easier hoeing corn with this spade back then.

That is so Cool,I have one like that,but I had no clue that it was a
spade. Thanks for sharing. Very nice artifact .

Hi Terry! The bit is the curved end. Look at yours and you will probably see that the bit is kind of polished from use. Post a pic of it when you get a chance. I would love to see it!
