Default Blah!!!!!!!!!

Well I found out what happens to snow when it melts. With the rain and snowmelt all the creeks were flooded and the fields were standing water. I guess it was just wishfull thinking. Also, to all of you from the tropical regions of this board.....Indiana weather really sucks so there is no need to rub it in. But if any of you need a new best friend to come and visit please let me know. Oh, by the way Indiana has never had a hurricane!!

Good thing about it being winter and the creeks being up is that it should clean off all the debris/dirt/mud off the rocks in the creeks. Next time you go out, when the water is down, all the rocks should be perfectly clean and the water crystal clear.

In the summer I notice there is usually a layer of mud/dirt covering the rocks. Something about the weather cleans up the creeks in the winter. (Plus all those darn mosquitoes!)

It's weird, I have never found an artifact in a creek bed around here, however, I wish you the best of luck!
