10,000 bc...........

Went to see the new movie 10,000 bc tonite. I'm no Siskel or Ebert but I thought it blew but anyone can pay thier money and judge for themselves. Total for the evening $23 for wings and a couple beers, 2 tickets $15, soda and popcorn $8 and $10 in gas. Grand total $56. Went home and watched the 10,000 bc special on the History channel. What an awesome program. Anybody that is interested in early man in North America would love this show. I can't wait to watch it again on the replay. Check it out if you can. Also, its cheaper to stay home!!!

I have seen the previews for 10,000 bc... the way I look at it is that its historically very incorrect.... but I guess the movie makers have to completly twist history to make it interesting

Movies are an expensive night out, especially if you get refreshments. We don't do that too much anymore. I'm told that they won't let you bring food or drinks in with you, I understand that, with the money they're making off theirs

Dude - that's why I go to movies in the winter...big coats with lots of pockets...smuggled a whole 12-pack in once.... It's fine until your wife drops an empty can and it clatters and rolls all the way to the front row!

To hell with Ringo what about Barbara Bach. Wasn't that movie called Caveman or 10,000,000 BC or something? Oh well, I think the special effects were better in the old one. If I recall we used to eat the "red berries" and watch that movie. Then jump in the AMC Pacer and head for IHop. Ah the good ole days..............

I could be wrong but I thought ringo was in the original with barbara of course. It could have been called caveman.. or was he in both?? Either way, he ended up with the prize!!

Movies are not as cheap to go to as they were 25 years ago...We used to go to the ones on base, but they have closed them now...WE did go to one downtown a few months back and it had been a long time since I had gone to one at a regular movie theater..I Paid for 4 of us to get in and then popcorn and drinks...Man you talk about high prices...Only good thing was someone that was running the film kept messing up the sound and when we left we received 4 free passes to come back...That sorta made up for the expense...Now if they can bring the gas prices down some I would almost be happy....Buster....
