Default Frame of Ft. Ancient points

Here is a frame of mostly Ft. Ancient points that I put together. These points all came out of the same field here in Central KY. The owner has plowed this field again, much to my surprise. He had taken the tobacco buyout back in 2004 and had left the field in grass until now. I can't wait to walk it again!

Thanks for looking!

Thanks Buster! The field is situated close to a good-sized stream. It is terraced up about 30 yards from the water's edge. It was a perfect location for them. It is also a beautiful place to walk. The way it is situated, you would never know that there is a 4 lane highway 300 yards on down. It is quiet and peaceful.

Good luck!

Adana; Thanks for your great posts. I was at work talking to Buster trying to figure out how the heck you all find these...I read a lot of old posts and am motivated to go and find some real soon...Just this weekend I was talking to my teenage sun showing him some pics of the posts on points and he tells me of an area a few miles from here were we use to live and there is a clay pit no more than 1/2 mile from our then house and his friends were finding points often...guess where I'm going this weekend...? We have quite a few creeks here and north of us quite a few plowed fields...time to make some new friends...
