What a beautiful collection! Definately something to drool over. And that bowl is amazing. I would be afraid to leave it on the floor, I'd be too afraid it'd get broken.

Default I've been away for over 24 hrs.. Thanks for the posts

Had to work from 700am yesterday until 1000pm. Had family staying in the computer room last night, so I'm just now back. Thanks for the comments. The bowl is solid soapstone, and weighs about 80 pounds. I had an Archaeologist date the age of the bowl at around 3500 years. He sanded a small spot on the bottom and could tell by the oxidation? amount. This was done at Longwood University. I will try to post some pics of the best items I have. Thanks..

Personally, with artifacts that nice, I would keep them locked up somewhere safe. Thieves like indian artifacts too.

We had my grandpa's 3 best finds laying on a bookshelf years back. One day we had a family reunion at our place, next day they were missing. Never found out who took them. We learned a lesson on valuables that day.

That's bad! I have found that kids will stick them in their pockets if you don't watch them. If you take some to a school and they get passed around(like they do in classes), you more than likely won't get all of them back. I did that once, and lost a nice clear-quartz point and a couple of others. No more of that!!!
