First point hunts of the year.
I've been watching the tides and the winds patiently waiting for the right combination of afternoon low tide and winds light enough to allow me to take the skiff out. In the mean time while sifting through a bucket of gravel looking for sharks teeth I found this first little gem.
Finally the weather and mother earth were cooperating enough to let me take the boat out. Still a bit chilly with temps in the high 30-low 40's and with the winds out of the east I could skirt the west side of the island and stay fairly dry!
The really nice point on the upper left was the first find of the day after 1.5 hours of walking/crawling through the beach gravel deposits. All in all a great day to be on the water with the dog and satisfy the point hunting jones!
