Come on up! I can't guarantee a "home run", but you will likely find something

Thanks for the comments! It's been a good while since I actually went out "looking" for anything, prior to today. Wasn't really 'looking" this morning, guess it was just luck.

Good morning Digging Fool, just looked up your points. The green one appears to be a Kirk Corner Notched that has been resharpened many times. it would be mid-Archaic and about 6000-9000 years old.

The white one (my favorite of the two) appears to be a Conerly type. Classic example of the type and very nice quailty. It is also mid to late Archaic, 4500-7000 years old.

Congrats on ywo very nice finds.

Now to razz you a little, That is sooooo unfair! Our garden is on a nice hill about 100 yards from the creek and there isn't a darn thing in there! But I love to garden so I'd be more than happy to come help you with yours..

Thanks, Clovis! Glad you are feeling better. I'm afraid there are more rocks in our gardens than there will be vegetables. The crows have devastated our plants, and Mother Nature has wiped out a few, too. Thanks again for that interesting info. I had no idea that these points were that old! There is another farm close by, where I actually found 20 perfect points in one afternoon(about 10 years ago) Wish I could get back there, but don't think I can, due to problems with the new landowner. Take Care!........

We're going to have plenty of veggies if the weather keeps up. 23 tomato plants doing well, green beans, onions, peas, potatoes too.

Trade veggies for rocks????
