Default Found Some Nice Artifacts Yesterday Including A Great Pinetree Point!!

Hello all,

I went with a couple of friends to a very plentiful Archaic Indian site in Southern Indiana on the Ohio River. We were there for only about 15 mins before I found the nice little Pinetree point in a washout! The rest are just broken pieces that were found in the 4 hours that we were there. I also found a fluted piece which looks like it was a clovis at one time. The other piece next to the Pinetree was an unfinished preform made from a neat Fort Payne Chert. Anyway, those are my Indian Artifact finds for yesterday. Let me know what ya think

Take care and HH!

H.D.

I think I want to go hunting with you! Very nice finds. Congrats.

The fluted piece may have been a Clovis or other paleo point. Those are the real heart-breakers to me.

I'd love to find a whole Clovis. Not that anyone could have noticed that....
