I'm thinking they must have camped right on or maybe near this creek. Tom how is the best way to find out the age of your points. Any ideas?

Lightbulb Look for Archeology reports by state...

university's or goverment agency's in your area and surrounding state's. Get the overstreet guide to arrowheads off of amazon. They try to carbon date or date by any new means all sites. That's is how I get the date's of my local finds.

I think there are more out there than you think. You just have to be aware of them and look for them. I am amazed at the many different areas that we have found them. Any time I have access to land that has been dozed and after a heavy rain I will look for them!

My son and I thank you Kim! When I am detecting I keep my eyes on the ground for arrowheads and listen for tones on my detector for good signals so now I have 2 hobbies going at once!
