Default Petroglyphs

For the last few years i have been visiting a lot of petroglyph sites and i thought i would share some of these pictures with all of you. Most of these were taken Utah. Here is a list of sites

Monument valley
Grand staircase
Valley of the Kings
Gila river,Arizona
Snow canyon
Canyonlands

Exceptional!!! I hope there is no way a person (idiot, fool, bald-headed step-child) can get to these drawings and destroy them. Pics are great, but like MD'ing, there is nothing like the real thing. Thanks for showing them.

Default Great Pictures!

Hey Rusty Bill,
Those are great pictures and even greater to see them in person. I'm like Boobie and don't understand them except for the next to last picture on the third post. Here we have PROOF that there really is a "BIG FOOT"!

I enjoy your pictures very much! Post more whenever possible.

Thanks for the great replies and the BIG FOOT indian is one of my favs also. I believe that glyph to be Mayan or Aztec in nature. Most of the petroglyphs are talking about big hunts and different types of animals from the so called vision quests. There is also one talking about a snake charmer and the older ones are status symbols just like you would see in Egypt around the great tombs and pyramids.
