Default My NEW YEARS DAY finds.

took my wife,daughter & dogs out today. it was warm and sunny for a january day. we did not do bad for a 3 hour hunt. my wife and daughter both nailed me with a mudball but i will get em back.


1st pic,3 kirk projectiles.
2nd pic,2 more kirks. the first one is made from flint ridge flint and the 2nd appears to be unfinnished. shows how big a kirk was when new.
3rd pic, thumbnail scraper & a broken knife or scraper.
4th pic,hand knife/scraper.
5th pic, 1st point in 2nd pic as it was found.


now too find the clovis point i have spent my life looking for.

Hey Tom,
Glad you and the family had great weather and were able to share a great hunt! You keep pulling them out on every outing! Keep up the good work and hope you and the family can share many more hunts together! I'd start back if I could find a field that has been plowed!!

Those are some tremendous finds. The best treasure was being able to spend the time with the family , with them enjoying the hobby with you. Congrats on both treasures. You are a lucky man.

What a beautiful Blueish point there Tom. I have never seen a point that color.

Default to be honest Greg....

it is the brown one in the 2nd photo. i do not know why in turned out blue in that photo. wish it was blue as i have only found maybe 3 or 4 blue one's.
