Silver denarius of Faustina II,wife of Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius (ruler in the movie Gladiator and father of Commodus).
A coin from the provinces and not many silver deanrius were struck as provincials.
Empire: Roman Provincial Mespotamia. Struck in Mesopotamia during the mid-160's in connection with Lucius Verus Parthian campaign Description: AR denarius Obverse: FAVCTINA CEBACTH Reverse: [YPE]P NIKHC - PWMAIWN Providentia holding globe and cornucopia For the Victory of Romans/Our Masters. Reference: Sear 1805 rare Circa: mid-160's

One of my favorites.

Best I can tell from the Overstreet the red one in the third scan appears to be a Big Sandy.....That's My Final Answer.

Again, Nice Find and Continued Good Luck (Looking or Digging), HH, Roger

Well, Since I looked in the correct section:"ES" instead of the "EC" in the Overstreet book, you could have a hardaway or palmer!
You found it, it's yours so name it what you want until someone with more knowledge than myself can tell you what it is!

Still An OLD POINT & A KEPPER IN MY BOOK!
Happy Hunting, Roger
