Recent Finds
Hi! I'm completely new to this hobby but I'm definitely hooked. About a month ago I found a small point in a field where I walk my dog. That was very exciting - a real thrill. I've looked every day since then and this morning I found another larger point that I think may be a knife or spear point but I'm not sure. It is 3.5 inches long and the stone is reddish in color (maybe hermatite?). I would like to know the type of stone and type of point also. I have Overstreet's Guide but can't find an exact match. Any help is appreciated.

some kind of stemmened point
what state did it come from and i can get a better idea of age & type. very nice find!!!
