Default arrowhead and fossil

I didn't find this myself.
I bought a bulk lot of Neolithic arrowhead from the Sahara.
This one on particular caught my eye.
The inpression of a fossil on both sided fo the arrowhead.
Unsure as to what the creature was.
Star fish rosomething like that?

Arrow head is 22 mm long.
On the left side of the arowhead you can see the impression.

enjoy.

This side has the circles on it.
Possibly tenticles.

This part is only barely 4 mm total length.
Very small animal.

Any ideas?
The arrowhead is about 5,000 - 3,000 BC.

Talking Common inclusion

The specimen you have is a good one indeed. The presence of the trace fossil can be explained through the supposition that the original deposit it was taken from was sedimentary.
Fossils in flint is a pretty common event. Out of the 10K points my family have collected quite a few have exibited this and other more profound examples of fossil inclusion.

Congrats on a good one. By the way the inclusion Doubles it's value.
It is most likely a gastropod (Snail).

i think your right about it being a snail.
The images look simialr to ones on site

http://www.discoveringfossils.co.uk/fossilsforsale.htm
the 2nd shop, 6 pics acroos the top,3rd pic from the left.

I think that is the bottom of a snail.
Exact image on the arrowhead.

Thankyou for the extra info.
My first of this type.
So needless to say I was quite happy to see this.
