Help.
Hello all. I am getting torward the end of my plowed field season but want to keep finding artifacts. I need help on how to research sites where I can go. Maybe to dig or walking streams. I live in Ulster County NY. Can anyone tell me how to go about finding new places? How to research new spots for indian artifacts? Any info would be great. Thanks

"The archaeology of New York State " by William a Richie is a good book to have.Also try old maps as they sometimes mention Indian sites.Rock outcrops are also worth investigating.Just about anywere along the rivers has potential also.Hope this helps HH
