Default One Year Collecting

Gee, most people search a lifetime and do not have the results you have apparently achieved, in one year.
I would like to see your whole collection here some day.
I'm sure it would take quite some time to do that.

I hit hot spots from time to time but it has been some time since I have found any meaningful sites.
Here in Dallas/Ft.Worth about as soon as a site opens someone puts a building there. They cover a lot of Fossils sites here too.

Great pickings you got there keep it up!

Hey Out4gold, I see you mentioned you are from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I recently have returned from Plano for the Christmas holiday at my brother-in-laws home. I did bring my Ace 250 detector with me in hopes that I would be able to get a break away for MDing... only about 45 minutes at a park close to their home. I did notice that there are tons of construction sites going on out there and near McKinney/Princeton also. Do you ever go MD those sites when the ground is in the process of being turned over? I so wanted to hit those sites! Next time I am up that way maybe we could go MD some areas!

Smile DfW area

Well Mr. Danback
I have not been to that part of the Metro plex in quite some time the areas around the Irving/Grand Prairie area keep me quite busy. The Lone Star Treasure Club does have members who live in that vicinity, and we do have had fun hunts there.
A fun hunt is where you are challenged to seek a stash of coins that have been planted in a particular park and while you seek the cache you MD for other items. The host of the hunt determines what to keep as valuable. We have even searched for pull tabs and fishing weights first place is a silver Half dollar.
We usually have a ball, when several of our members participate.

If you will go to lonestartreasure.com and take a look at us. This is who we are. By the way I am also a diggin fool for bottles as well. I recently found a glass bottle rolling pin. Truly functional. There were lots of other stuff found including over 100 marbles between three diggin fools.

One downfall was, one of my friends came down with a severe case of Poison Ivy. The roots carry the same irritant as the leaves. I myself have gotten it there but have since found preventive measures He will too on our next dig.

Send me a privete message and I will get back with you.

Later
