Hard to say from your pic.,but looks like a stone axhead or net sinker.what are the dimentions?

Nice find! That is a native american axe head dating from 300 years.
 That style of axe was not used by indigenous tribes. I don't know which tribes used it, but i will research it.rustycoinUT
