I think it's awesome!! Knowing the history would make it worth way more than $13 to me. Congratulations on a great find. Keep it up! Maybe you'll find a whole zoo full of creatures like that.

i dont know about a zoo, but hemingray did make small glass turtles that were meant for production, not little whimsies the workers made.
I forgot to mention how it was made didn't i, It was made by pouring glass into a ladle (thats how it gets it's odd appearance) and tweasers (are whatever they had laying around i guess) were used to make the turtles arms, legs, and tail. Too bad it wont fit on my light shelf.
