Talking Kellyco Metal Detectors

Hello Treasure Hunters!

I want to thank you folks for caring so much and giving us our own space on this forum! Kellyco certainly tries to have a strong presence in the online metal detecting community, and this is a great way of talking to the people that keep us in business! We’ve been helping people find treasure with metal detectors since the 1950’s, and not a day goes by that we don’t learn something new, either about our hobby or our customers. I say “we,” because Kellyco wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for the effort of a great team of people – ALL of whom truly love and enjoy this hobby.

Overall, we’re an optimistic bunch that tries to see only the good in each individual technique, machine, and opportunity to hunt. Being in the business this long, we’ve learned a lot along the way and we’re happy to share it! Feel free to contact us at any time, for any reason! We love answering questions, no matter how simple or technical they might be. Even more, we love trading stories about finds with anyone who considers themselves a treasure hunter – newbies and old pro’s alike!

If there is anything Kellyco can do for you just let us know. We’re always here to listen and we’ll do our best to always be around.

Happy Treasure Hunting!
KellycoChick & the Kellyco Team

Welcome to our MD Home Treasure Quest, the best darn MD forum anywhere. Do you guys have an outlet in the panhandle of Florida? Just curious. JC

Sorry friend, no outlet in N.Florida, just in Central Florida. But if you're ever in the area let me know! And if you know of any good hunts up there, count us in! Thanks for the warm welcome!

Hey Kellyco Chick, Bought a Garret GTI 2500 from you guys a few years ago, love it. I now own a Whites MXT, love it as well. You have great buys and your customer service is great.
I Do have a question, can the MXT be used in the water?

Hey there! Thanks for being so loyal! It's always nice to hear positive feedback

The MXT can be used in water because the coil is submersible, but don't get the electronics wet. And make sure your coil cable is healthy and secure... not damaged or cracked at all. Hope this helps!
