Talking Minelab X-Terra 70 Contest Winner

Goodmorning Treasure Hunters!

As many of you know, Kellyco ran a contest for a Minelab X-Terra 70 Metal Detector during the month of December. We invited users from all the forums that we sponsor to enter and submit a treasure story if they felt up to it. We knew you were all talented treasure hunters, but so many of you turned out to be excellent story tellers also!

Your response to the contest was more then expected and beyond successful. Your entries were so good that Stu and Ali are already planning the next contest – so the “Win an X-Terra 70” will surely be the first of many contests offered exclusively to our favorite forums.

But enough about that – You want to know who won! Give big congratulations to Duard Fox of Lewisburg, Ohio! He is now the proud owner of a Minelab X-Terra 70! The President/CEO of Minelab USA, Mr. Jim Drummond, drew his name out of the submissions received between December 11, 2007 and January 15, 2008.

This was such an exciting contest, the first of its kind for our forum friends, and we wished we could have picked more winners. So we selected the best-told stories and entered those people into a smaller contest from which we picked three runners-up.

Please congratulate Eric Wainwright, Brian Duvall and Edward Chaput for their exceptional stories that were so well-written, we felt like we were right there by their side. They will each receive a $50.00 Kellyco gift card and will automatically be the first names entered into the next contest we have.

Thank you all for your submissions and stories. We were so happy to be able to give something back to our favorite forums, since you all are our friends and customers and make this hobby one of the most honest and friendly there is. Keep your eyes open for the next contest and again, congratulations to our winners!

The attached pictures are of Mr. Drummond and Ali (a.k.a. KellycoChick) picking the winner. Enjoy!

Thanks for all who participated,
