Somehow I missed this post in January, but like Dugday asked, did you get to use it yet? I bet the tourists are swimming down there now .

I've been thinking of one for a while now, wondering how they'd be.

I go to the NJ shore three or four time a year and a few of the PA state parks, and I'm thinking of getting one too. Thanks for and light you can shed on this subject.

No I haven't gotten to use it yet, the water is still cold here but I did a lot of air tests with it with every coin, rings big & small, keys, you name it, it picked a lot of them up as far as 6-7 inches away, but that may differ with them being in salt water & sand, but I am so ready to get out snorkeling with it, especially when it's low tide, the vibration on it is very strong plus it has a bright LCD light on it, very kewl indeed, the water doesn't get warm enough to swim til like mid-may but once I get out there I will definitely let yall know how it worked out.
