Congrats and welcome.
I started with the BH about a month ago and the wife being so interested in what I was doing wanted to do it too. So I got an Ace 250 but only used it once for about a half hour in a pasture. The owner said there wasnt any thing there cause some guy ran a detector thru it about a year and half ago. When I took mine out at first I got 7 solid hard hits and dug 5 items in that half hour. Just waiting to see if it will dry out or ???? 6 inches rain Monday. 12 inches snow Tuesday . 8 inches snow Thursday rain predicted for Sunday Good luck

Congrats on the New Ace 250 Elvis. Lot of Folks here that use them so if Ya have any questions you'll have all kinds of Help. Pretty much what everyone else has said and like MineLabMan has said.. be careful at the Canal and in the Woods. Never know what critters are lurkin around.
