Something Wierd On Google Earth

Hi all,This is my first posting.I was using Google Earth the other night looking for possible relic sights when I saw a face looking back at me from the terrain around the Resaca battlefield.You've probably heard of the face on mars,well I guess this is the face of Resaca.If anyone doubts this image you can download Google Earth for free and find it.I actually live 3 miles to the southwest of this in Sugar Valley,GA.I can't figure out how to post this image so if anyone wants to see it send me an email to duranduran2256@hotmail.com Good luck and good hunting.

First of all, welcome to Treasure Quest.

I never found a face in the area but mainly looked around where my late stepfather's family resided..Supposed to be Northeast of town. He was a Fite. The family originated from Germany and was originally spelled Vogt.. This was way back in the mid 16 and 1700's. His mother was a Luttrell from around Memphis, TN.

Do you have the coordinates for the face?? Just curious as my email program is on the fritz right now. Keeps saying console error 516 and wont take my password.

Sure do James they are right here on the photo-34degrees34'56.21"N 84degrees57'31.29"W.The wooded section next to the interstate almost due west of Resaca marker on the Google earth map.You're going to be surprised by what you see.Thanks Steve

By the way James,thats a hyphen after the word photo not a part of the coordinates.Or you can just key in the words Resaca,GA and Google Earth will take you right to it.

so is that like the pnetagram you see when you google earth washington DC, and then zoom all the way in, then back out 2 times, and you can see it,, and or it looks like a man with a beard in a top hat......

I was looking over by Fite Bend.. Not west of the Interstate!! There is a spot over by there that looks like a hill at first but then it resembles a soldier in a kepi as well.. I will try to locate it again. Meanwhile I will try to do some playing around with the pic and see what details I can highlight.
