Smile Hi to all...

I would like to say hello to all the members of TQ. I have not been around for quite some time now. I am having some medical problems and it is very hard for me to sit or stand for any length of time. Greg, I apologize to you for disappearing the way I did. I hope I will be able to get back to the site more often as I can. Haven't been detecting since we were out at Charles'. I sold my DFX but still have the XLT. I hope I will get another chance to use it. In any case, I will try to get to the site more.
By the way, I like the new format. Great job.
Mike

Default Thanks Greg...

I accept, if I am able. I am hoping that warmer weather will help me out a little. I would like for you to bring your Minelab over to Greene County to search an old Homestead. We searched it last spring but I am sure it still holds some good treasures. I must say I am impressed with you field test results with the Explorer II. It looks like they have improved the machine since I owned one a few years back. I am thinking about a new detector and am considering a Fisher. Maybe you can change my mind. However, I had alot of trouble with the Minelab. Just couldn't get use to it. Maybe together we can help me figure it out...I will be in touch.
Mike

Thanks Mike,
You let me know and I will stop over.
The XLT was not to stable in the areas I like to hunt, after 5 minutes of the chitter chatter I was ready to shut it off and leave. After purchasing the Explorer II I ran it in the same spots and it was very stable and quite.

The XLT is a good detector in decent ground conditions.
Also the Explorer II goes deeper with its 28 freqs.

I am happy now but in 4 years who knows

I was suprised to hear that you sold your DFX.

Have a good week,
