New Family Member

Interesting weekend, got some swing time in, but the majority of the weekend was spent with our newest family member.

This is a photograph of my Blue Heeler, Gus and our newest family member a Red Heeler named Louie !!

Louie is a rescue puppy and a special needs puppy as he is deaf !!! We were told about him through a deaf friend of ours who specializes in rescuing Australian Heelers.

Louie brings a WHOLE new meaning to patience.

So hopefully this spring I will be hunting the lake parks with 2 heelers !!!

Congratulations on your new family member. It was great of you to rescue a dog and a deaf one at that, I'm sure you and Gus will get Louie into the routine soon. As trying as puppies can be, the end result is worth every bit of it.

Great addition to the family! I've had Bailey - my german shepherd - since she was 8 weeks old - and I don't refer to her as "my dog"...she truly is a member of the family... enjoy!
