Default Ole Bart passed away......

My best friend Steve's saint bernard "Bart" died of old age a couple of days ago.I stopped by after TH'ing this morning and Steve and his family were pretty upset that they hadent seen bart for a couple of days. They had searched the area and couldent find him.I found him up under the back addition. We buried him in the back yard( Bart was a BIG dog)
Bart was allso one of my best friends and i will miss the old guy.He was the most "Human" dog i ever met.You could talk to Bart and swear he Knew exactly what you were saying.Steve would tell him "Bart,go get in the truck " That truck could be a mile away and he would go hop up into the back,AFTER looking at you like " Awwwww maaan what did i do "

R.I.P. ole bart

I am sorry for you and your friend. My boxer's are 12 and 13 and I dread that day so much. Animals make our world wonderful.

Default For Rip & Your Friends Family

The Rainbow Bridge

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth
It is called the Rainbow Bridge
Because of it's many colors.

Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge
There is a land of meadows, hills and valleys
With lush green grass
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place
There is always food and water
And warm spring weather

The old and frail animals are young again
Those who were maimed are made whole again
They play all day with eachother
There is one thing missing-
They are not with their special person
Who loved them on Earth.

So every day they run and play till the day comes
When one suddenly stops playing and looks up
The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring!
And this one suddenly runs from the group.

You have been seen, and when you and your
Special friend meet, You take him or her
In your arms and embrace.

As your face is kissed again and again and again,
You look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet
Then you cross over the Rainbow Bridge together,
Never again to be seperated.

The TINMAN

RIP - so sorry about Bart...my own "baby" is 12 and the thought that one day she won't be here just tears me up.

Tinman...what a beautiful sentiment...made me cry.
