7 years bad luck ?

I have been sorting out my bedroom today,moving the furniture and clearing out the clothes I will never fit in to again and I have been piling things on my bed before putting them away or discarding.
Just now when my back was turned something started moving on the bed which resulted in a mini landslide crash, bang, wallop and the sound of breaking glass.........A full length mirror lies in pieces on my floor.
Do you believe in 7 years bad luck ?.......or maybe you don't have that superstition....I don't think I do....but time will tell..

When we cleaned out my parents house to sell we rented a dumpster and several mirrors were thrown into it. Most either broke from the fall or broke throwing stuff onto them.

So far no major bad luck, but you got me wondering, is there a statute of limitations on how long it can take for the bad luck to come?

The only superstition I truly believe in is the Rule of 3 (all events, good or bad, happens in sets of 3). As for luck - good or bad - you definitely make your own.

So think of your broken mirror this way - lots of little pieces are a lot easier to carry than one huge heavy piece!! And now you've got an empty space on your wall and you can go SHOPPING!! for something new to put in its place!

And like TINMAN said...be careful picking up the pieces - make sure you get them all and don't cut yourself doing it!
