Were's Pris ?

Havent heard from Pris lately.I know she is in the area of the wildfires that are burning in CA. and I'm hoping she's safe !

I saw those fires on the news this morning,it looks awful,the first thing I thought of was how many of my TQ family might be involved,I hope everyone is safe.
God Bless everyone that is now homeless or wondering if they will be next.It is so frightening.

I spoke to her yesterday...she said they were fine, but were keeping an eye on a particular fire line called the "Witch" fire. She, Noelle and I were supposed to meet for dinner in San Diego this weekend - but my conference there has been canceled...

Well that's good to hear.Sorry you cant get together though.Now that i think about it ,I'll bet Pris is out there detectin and carrying a bag of marshmallows and hotdog's just in case !

Glad to hear she's safe, those fires are terrible, hope the wind lets up soon.

I'm all good! Tryin' to keep my toes out of the fire. Tons of smoke in the air, so it's giving the normal smog a run for its money I heard from Greenwenvy, too and he's fine. He's about a mile or so away from a part of the fire. He said it's very smoky and he's blasting the A/C to make the air better.

I'll be roastin' s'mores. Smells like campin', actually.

In all seriousness, though, some of the footage is very frightening. Noelle's work is under a voluntary evacuation and has been for a few days. They've left early twice, but she said that it's passed them, now. She said that you can feel the heat from the fire when you walk out of their building. I think she is crazy for going back to work today.

I'll keep everyone posted, but we're about 15 or 20 miles from the foothills of Portola, so we're pretty safe unless some embers are blown our way. The Santa Ana winds have died down, so at least THAT is good news.

Aww! I'm glad we're past the horrible blister on the heels phase, EPC I wouldn't want you to have to go through that with anyone else, either!! Don't worry! We're all good and lookin' out for each other.

As far as moving to CO, even though y'all say it doesn't get cold there, I think that your recent snowstorm has scared me off. It's still in the 90s here. A visit is a DEFINITE possibility, though.

By the way, did you ever get a better digger? You'd have a way better experience if you had something that could cut through butter. hehehe
