TQ Holiday Greeting Card Exchange

I know, I know, it's not even Halloween yet....but the holidays are just around the corner and I'd like to see if anyone is interested in participating in a TQ Holiday Greeting Card Exchange?

If anyone is interested, please pm me your first/last name, mailing address, and email address by November 10th. I will create a card exchange list and will email the list to everyone who decides to participate. Then you just send a holiday card to everyone who is on the list.

Yes, postage can get expensive, which is why I'd like to include email addresses on the list so if anyone would rather send an e-card, the option is there. But please, if you put your name on the card exchange list, just remember you are committed to sending a card. If for some reason you can not do so, let me know asap so I can remove your name from the list, to be fair to those people who will be sending cards.

Afraid you have to count me out.It's a nice thought but some may be leaving themselves open for something else.Of course we consider our group as a family but there may be some who do not feel that way.Really don't know how to say what I'm thinking,but maybe Gregg or Pappy will know,then again I might be completely wrong,hope so.It's kinda the address part.

Today we had a nice hunt and had friends we met from aabout 2 hours away along with Boobie,Mr.silver and two other detecterlyst gentlemen 7 of us total and we had a great hunt and Toye (the wonderful lady she is ) Cooked dinner for us and we feasted like the last super ! what a great day ....so yes my address is open to anyone ...

I understand completely your apprehension about giving out your home address. These are sad times we live in - and it's sad that we have to second guess even the most natural of human qualities: trust in our fellow man.

Each one of us initially became members of TQ for the same reason: our love of metal detecting. But I believe many of us have stayed for a far greater reason: friendship. And with friendship...even long-distance, I only see you on the computer screen kind...a little trust goes a long way. But trust takes time, and family can be patient!

If you still want to participate and would like to just submit an email address - that's fine. There are some terrific e-cards online - and you don't have to worry about stamps!
