Heard some myself and they already have the Christmas stuff in the stores. I remember when you didn't hear or see anything about Chistmas till right after Thanksgiving but that was another time, One I and I'm sure alot of the older folks Miss. Just a sign of the times.

According to the retailers, the Christmas season begins August 25th! That's when some of them began to sell Christmas decorations.

It comes down to one thing - commercialization. Businesses want to start cashing in on the holidays earlier and earlier every year. I actually saw my first true Christmas commercial in early October this year.

Over here they start end of August stacking the shelves with christmas cards, trimmings even Puddings. It has put me right of Christmas,as EPC guy said it is to commersialised.
The begining of December is quite early enough to display and sell christmas items.

The true meaning of Christmas has gone.

My wife calls me "The Grinch". It is not the season I dislike, it is the over hype of it, Beale.
