THIS COMES AS A TOTAL SURPRISE TO ME. I THOUGHT THIS WAS ALL OVER WITH. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL LAST APRIL 16TH WHICH WAS A DEATH THREAT FROM SUPPOSED AFGHAN TERRORIST. I WAS TOLD NOT TO CONTACT THE FBI, INTERPOL, OR ANY POLICE. I HAPPEN TO HAVE AN FBI CONTACT WHICH I TURNED THIS OVER TO. NOTHING HAPPENED AND WENT ON WITH MY BUSINESS. NOW I WONDER?

GREG I STAND BY YOU AND TREASURE QUEST AND THE WHOLE OF OUR GROUP. I AM SORRY THAT THERE ARE THOSE THAT CAN'T BE MATURE AND DO THE RIGHT THINGS. GREG IF I CAN HELP YOU LET ME KNOW AND I WILL DO MY BEST.

MAY GOD BLESS TREASURE QUEST AND GREG AND ALL OF THE MEMBERS. I WILL BE PRAYING THAT THIS WILL BE STOPPED AND WE WILL CONTINUE ON IN AN ORDERLY FASHION.

I went through this on a fishing message board. Two guys left to form their own board and sent out a massive PM & emailing to direct people to their site. Mud slinging and such, typical BS. Then the two with the new board had an argument so one deserted the whole mess. I choose what boards I post on, an e-mail(don't think I received it) isn't going to sway me either way

I have an e-mail address in my public profile. I previously purchased a detector from Chuck and possibly provided an e-mail in that transaction...but that was before he was banned. Not sure why they would solicit via emails to pull members away. Seems kinda low-down.

i wasnt a customer of chucks. the only email any one has access to is the one they can send to from here.


i will greatly miss the members who have decided to leave here to go to his forum. and for those who want to be members of both i have no problems with that either.


i belong to several Treasure forums online. but TQ is my home. i log onto TQ b4 i even check my email. shoot i will go a week with out checkin my email. i cant go 24 hours with out a TQ fix.

This is the best place to learn and grow as a treasure hunter. i have no doubt about that at all. but we are all free to make our own decisions. and i sure would hate to see the TQ 08' dig fall through because of this. Some good friends have left, many remain, many more will join.

Lets not worry about what the other forums are doing or not doing. Let us concentrate on making TQ the absolute best forum any where in the whole WORLD WIDE WEB.

OH WAIT JUST A SECOND....

It ALREADY IS!!!!!!!!

So we can now move on to more important things like...

I could have used it on the TQ hunt, it would have been an error on my part but I could have. And Boobie doing the emailing makes a little more sense than Chuck.

It's Clicking down pretty good. It seems like just last week it was 15 or so months away. I wish I could go take a Big Nap and wake up in May 08, That way I could miss this winter and be only 6 months away from the TQ Hunt. Love this Site And It's Members !

Chuck was banned with a lot of unanswered questions. This is Greg's sight and can ban anyone at his leisure. I got one side of the story and not the other half, so I decided not to pass judgment. It did leave an uneasy knot in my stomach that is still there today. Chuck worked hard at assisting people here and at selling his products.
I will continue to visit here. This sight is better than some of the others I belong too, but being banned on an accusation and no proof is bad deal. This is my 2 cents worth, do with it what you please.

I have not had much time for reading...but I think this is a great site...the only one I post on...I had tried to post on another...I was a beginner at the time...felt very outcasted...others not wanting to help me...or wanting me to post, may not have been the case...but that is how I felt...This site has always welcomed me with any of my questions...no matter how they sounded...lol!!!! Very down home site...family oriented...I like this site because we have never had alot of what is going on now...be adults....I do not know what happened, but from what I am reading, Boobie is gone???

I do believe Greg is a very fare person and runs a great site!!!

I am going to miss him...Can't imagine what happened for all this!!! Is very sad.....

I think everyone here is able to make their own decisions and should do what they feel is right. I like Chuck and he was always the 1st to step up to help anyone. I know that he feels a successful forum is the best revenge and I feel that is his right. I hope everyone will make their choices on what they feel is best for them. I personally feel that you can be a part of more than one place without hurting anyone if you do so with dignity and respect.
