Default Civil War portraits

Hi folks -

I'm about to start working on this, and I thought I'd give you guys the first shot at it...

I'm hoping to start on a series of CW VIPs here soon... if you have a favorite, and would like something done of them, please let me know!

Regards,
Robert

Wow, those are going to look great. I can't wait to see how they turn out. How many will be in this series?

I've found a couple of resources for photos, but they are generaly kinda hard to come by... I have probably 15-20...

sherman, forrest, brannon, jeffdavis, lincoln, huger, howe, orson_hart, caldwell, sibley, dix, sherman, sam_heintzelman, custer, beauregard, hooker, hancock, garfield, mosby, gordon, lee...

These are just some I've found... and I'm not the best on CW stuff - I just know some of the more important figures... if anyone else knows some names I may have left out, or if you have a favorite you don't see here, please let me know!

Are you also looking at some of the nameless soldiers? Maybe that could be a secondary series. I have seen several really moving photos from that era.

Looks like these will sure keep you busy for a great while. Who knows, this may be the one that throws you into more fame than you have already. Maybe the Franklin Mint will call you!

What about Stonewall Jackson ? Are the prices the same as what I saw on your E-mail adress ? Your work is Excellent. I can only draw Stick people. I am always in awe of people with that kind of talent.

Yeppr that would be him. I have something I'm tossing around in my little Tin Head so as soon as I figure it out I will be getting a hold of you. Probably right after this week end. Thanks Portrait Artist. Hope things are on a little smoother track for ya. Your Avatar is a sample of your work is it not ?
