thanks Chuck...some times we all need to remember... I have a duplex didn't want to rent to someone with kids you know the noise and all... but not sure why but I did.... a single mother with three kids... she had a son Peter was 12 at the time...we soon became best friends... really I would not be home for 2 minutes he would be here to see me... I taught him how to drive even gave him his first car... he joined th marines...only saw him on his only leave...car drove up goverment plates on it then it left... half hour latter... same car... I go say whats up they have nothing to say to me ask if I know where mrs Orlando is I say she is not at home ... she is with my girl Sandy they were out shopping together... now I know something is up... well in the end I think we all need to thank all that protect us...one being prvt Peter Orlando usmc... died at the age 18...he was gunner doing training on humvee... it over turned killing him.. I met the guy driving when it happened he already wears the scars of war... will it ever end?
When I get my camera up I will post pictures of his memorial square on my street and a pic of tree him and I transplannted God bless and thanks to all who keep us free! Chick!

Sorry to hear of your loss Chick, we could never begin to repay our troops for the sacrifices that they, their friends and families make to allow us our way of life.

Thanks to all!

Default Freedom

Nothing in the world is free. Our Freedom has the highest price of anything we shall EVER have. My Freedom cost me my father, many have paid even more. May God Bless all those whom gave their EVERYTHING, those whom are still fighting, and especially those left behind trying to pick up the pieces.
My father has been gone 22 years. He died at the age of 46 due to breast cancer caused by agent orange. I still miss him but I am thankful for the time we had together.

Thanks Chick,
I always wondered why it was called freedom when it costs so much.
